Treasure Island Foods

This location is closed permanently. They are selling the furniture from the store. Edit: google still has not updated this location to indicate it is closed as of 11/25/18 despite it being reported for a month. It still shows as being open today.

Treasure Island remains plagued with selling outdated food, moldy cheese and other items on the shelf past their prime. Recent closing of the Clybourn store was obvious weeks before, though the staff continue to vehemently deny the fact that it was closing. Several items I purchased were moldy and had to be thrown away. With so many better options such as Trader Joes, Marianos, and even the jewel stores I think this ship has sailed. Overpriced food and lack of service is no longer the norm!

This place disappoints me every time I visit. Sometimes they don't have every thing I need, other times I get my produce home and what looks fabulous on the outside is spoiled on the inside. This is the closest grocery store to my house, but I always leave frustrated and I'll continue to go elsewhere.
