If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired the guy (Jimmy Furman) to build a fairly simple porch, and a privacy wall. This contractor started the days after 10:00, and would work until it was nearly dark, causing him to not catch plenty of detail along the way. While the wall came out ok - During the porch construction he threw a temper tantrum at my wife, when she requested reasonable replacement of cracked and warped wood, prior to paying him the balance. He brow-beat his employee who was not qualified, yelling at him to the point that all of my surrounding neighbors were astounded - one nearly called the cops. He has some SERIOUS anger issues and incredibly defensive for someone who should be at least a little customer service savvy, but he doesn't get it. He also damaged existing frame structure (gouges), etc. and just left them. Finally, when I politely sent an email requesting finishing the job he was paid in full for, to replace cracked and splintered boards that he cracked by not using the proper technique in the first place, not to mention gaps, and railings that were not uniform in height, he called to "inform" us that "you can sue me in small claims court! I am not coming back!" BEWARE!!!! THIS IS A LOOSE CANON of a Contractor!! PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND GET EVERY Detail In writing! The Worst experience I have had and this is the 6th property I have owned working with numerous contractors.
