Responsive and detail oriented. Was able to virtual quote via FaceTime- came out to complete work following week. Staff was so polite, detail oriented, very careful to not disturb my garden and so respectful of my yard and plants. They cleaned up perfectly when finished and were professional from start to finish. And did I mention how AMAZING my porch and deck looks! Wow! They custom tailored for my complicated work (rought iron, spindle wood and deck) and they completed quickly and did a great job. I cannot say enough about them!

Sam is great to work with.  Informative and honest.  Provided a quote same day I sent a request.  The work was completed before expected.  Guys doing the job were friendly.  End product looks great.

Sam and his team are amazing at what they do. They were referred to us by Framar the company that built our decks. Our building was getting quotes many many months in advance. I think it was actually year in advance once we were all said and done. Sam provided not only a fast quote but so much information on the best options to treat/seal our decks. He really knows what he's doing. Unfortunately the board with the building thought the best route was to go with a cheaper company. If you are thinking that Alternative is "too expensive" let these pictures show you EXACTLY what happens when you decide to go the cheap route when it comes to decks. We hired another company and before they were even complete we had to make an emergency call to Sam at Alternative. He assessed our problems and had his team come out ASAP to start sanding this mess off to save our decks. I can't thank Sam and his team enough. Shout out to the woman on the deck sealing team! It made me so happy to see a woman being hired for this type of work. I know personally how hard it is to be taken seriously and treated equally in the home repair / carpentry industry. Alternative Home Improvement is nothing less then amazing!! We had our fence and railings done and get nothing but compliments! Sam is the best he helped me get the color I wanted without hesitation! His employees were punctual, clean & efficient! You will NOT be disappointed with this company!!

Sam is absoulty fabulous!!  So patient and understanding (I can be a handful).. we needed our front porch cleaned and stained, they look amazing! Will defiantly using his services again in the future! Highly recommended!!
