Gatling's Chapel Inc

Gatling's funeral home is very unprofessional and lack compassion.  They rush you out of their facility from the time you enter the room (you are definitely on a timer).  To top it off instead of the chaplain keeping the focus on the decease he started talking about himself which had nothing to do with why we was there.  They also told a grieving woman that was leaving my uncle's home going to shut up while she was crying because there were other services going on.  Please take your love one somewhere else this place is not it. They do not even deserve a one star that's too high of a rating for this rude and disrespectful funeral home.

My recent experience with Gatlings Chapel was excellent. The staff was very professional and accommodating. This is my second time using Gatlings and I highly recommend them. They take customer very serious.

would NOT recommend this place. They only care about the money and are extremely unorganized and rude. I've never in my life seen no crap like this. The lack of empathy and understanding from staff in this type of business is beyond me. Multiple services going on at once, crowds of people all over the place. Couldn't even have peace at the viewing. The florist is pure trash. My grandmother paid for my dads arrangements and they were not even ready until 2 hours into my dads viewing and she refused to give a partial refund after saying she would. Then the audacity to use the excuse that she was late because people keep interrupting her. Ought be ashamed to call yourself a business owner. You got one opportunity to get things right and these people are not it. Throw the whole damn place away.

I am so unsatisfied with my services at this chapel. No words can express the amount of disappointment I had with the whole service. First off, Shay in Obituary Planning, was very abrasive and rude. She wouldn't even let me get a word out before she was interrupting me. During the wake, we had to practically beg them to bring flowers that my family paid for. We also paid hourly for the flowers and they said they do no refunds whatsoever but I feel we should've been entitled to a discount because we paid for flowers to be there at a certain time and they were two hours late. It was ridiculous. Next, the funeral itself was overall okay but some things can't be overlooked. First off, They turned the TV off instead of muting it. So, I couldn't connect my phone to play the music I'd picked out for my father's funeral. They approached me like I did something wrong, and I explained I can't do anything because the TV was shut off. Second off, they let two funerals out at the same time which lead to a lot of confusion with leaving to head to the burial. Honestly, I'll give one star because some of the staff were very nice but they will never bury another family member of mine.
