I would like to share how a lttle things could have a huge impact. I stoppped at Midway location to see if they could repair my glasses , I bought 2-3 years ago at this location. Dont have a lot of hope that they will be able to fix it ,since I was turned down at eyemechanic ( La Grande location) where I had the my most recent eye exam. I was very suprise, as soon as I entered the office , I felt very welcome , and the most important thing we are missing these days willingness to help you no matter what. Amazing lady Dawn fixed my glasses in few minutes and make my day . Now, I know my next eye exam definately, will be at this location. Thank you for the great wonderful services Dawn .

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Confirmed appointment, informed I would get there on time as I get out of work 30 min prior. Arrived at the 10 min grace period (crash on highway), and they said I didnt make it on time. Inconsiderate, they dont even answer their phones and they were aware I was coming. Very rude, technician was rolling her eyes the whole time.

0 likes on the 4-5 star reviews. Hmm. It took hours to see me. The receptionist lady was the worst, she wouldn't give me my prescription info because she tried to charge me twice for "not coming back often enough" and because I didn't want to buy the awful overpriced glasses. I would NEVER go here again. I looked over the other reviews. $500 for $30 glasses online, double charging over medicaid, they are predators, liars, and thieves. I would use all 3 words to describe the evil on 6322 S Archer Ave.

This location and service has really gone down-hill recently - and how long can places keep using COVID as the excuse, 3 years in? This review would be even longer, if I went into further detail, but the summary is based on my experience and my opinion. Limited and inconsistent days/hours - the website shows them for a month at a time, but below that next to the **, it says to call the office as hours vary each week (and the staff tells you the same). In my situation, they were not upfront or transparent about their policy regarding refunds on upgraded/custom lenses if they don't work out, which I was recommended/encouraged to get by their staff. When I brought other issues to their attention about the glasses (including an issue in which I sustained a week-long rash because THEY, the "professionals", did not ensure the correct pads that I'm not allergic to were on the frames - an issue they were already/previously aware of and was documented in their system), they (the DM in particular) tried to gaslight and turn it on me, instead of admitting and apologizing for their short-comings/mistakes (I would have had a lot more respect for them if they/the DM could have just done that). I have never encountered a manager/assistant manager who was so apathetic to a patient's/customer's situation/experience and stone-walled like this one did when asked for a reasonable/appropriate refund/compensation for everything I had dealt with and been through in trying to get these glasses right over an extended period of time - including having to use time from work to go in and have the glasses fixed when they broke while I was at work, just two weeks after I got them. It is apparent to me that the DM is only concerned with their bottom-line and does not genuinely have the patient's/customer's best-interest and satisfaction at heart. I wish my most recent experience with them was like it was when I first started going there, but sadly I cannot say that, and would no longer recommend anyone to go here.***UPDATE: New Year's Day and these glasses broke AGAIN! Mind you, I am always very careful with my glasses. A friend took a close look at them and saw that the screws were put in upside down, so the frame on one side keeps popping open and the lens falls out - I am lucky that it didn't get stepped on or crushed before I found it. Thank God I have my other pair to fall back on, but I have no choice but to use the older prescription until I can get these fixed once again. The CARELESSNESS and INCOMPETENCE is unbelievable! I will take them somewhere where at least the little things can be done right! ZERO stars at this point!!

The doctor is great, although the beware. They will try to charge you for your yearly check up covered by insurance. Receptionist is very rude and stuck up. Made the whole experience 10x worse.
