I was the president of a condominium association when I made the mistake of contacting Monarch Realty Partners about converting our building back into an apartment building. Monarch was recommended to us by someone who’d done business with them before, and they seemed like they would be able help us at first. It was hard to tell if the problems that developed so soon were due to a lack of experience or ethical shortcomings, but between the problem they had with us using the asking price they had recommended to disagreeing with us for using the amount of time they recommended for the due diligence portion of the potential sale there were many other minor things they did to make me think we’d made a mistake with using them. By the time they told us that their potential buyer hadn’t just sold a property like they had originally said but needed to sell another property first to buy ours I knew we’d made a mistake and they couldn’t be trusted. The time I wasted with them prolonged the time needed to sell my condominium unit using an agent who never made me doubt her experience or ethics, I’d highly recommend you looking elsewhere for an agent with experience and ethics like mine does.

Keep away from Monarch. We also were in a conversion building. What was said and what they did did not benifit the owners. We were told that we would receive much more then when it came down to a written offer. Mine was $30,000. Less. Keep away from them. Offer was not taken
