Absolutely awful service. I went to get my uniform pieces altered and the woman (in the picture ) told me not to try them on in the store but take it home and if there’s a problem bring it back. I knew I should’ve trusted my guy and looked at all my pieces before leaving. I went home and noticed these burn marks and torn pieces. I came back and told her about it and she then told me “it must be your dog” I laughed and told her I don’t even own a dog. She gave me so many excuses on how this wasn’t her problem and didn’t even do a good job on half the alterations I gave her. I spent $300 to be highly disappointed. If you love your money and clothes DO NOG DO BUSINESS HERE. You will be HIGHLY disappointed.

I’ve been a customer since 2008. Every alteration I’ve brought here fits like a dream. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I had jeans altered here a while ago. I remember getting them back quickly and not paying too much. They’ve held up to this day and still look great!

What started as a nice customer relationship has finally ended, badly, today (Aug 15, 2019). Owners arbitrarily choose items to launder vs dry clean, thereby charging 5x the laundering price for shirts. They also charge fictitiously and apply different charges to same quantity of items. When I questioned the prices, the male owner yelled at me 2 times. Today, he wanted to charge me $34.00 for 3 shirts and when I insisted he launder them, he threw my shirts at me and told me to leave. I have already found another cleaner in my neighborhood, very nice, happy to launder my shirts. I do not need to be cheated and scolded from my neighborhood cleaners. My advice, look for another cleaners. If you do use New Star, have them write down the price of your load on the pick-up receipt.
