I went into this location to make a return on 2 case of tile that I purchased in Hammond Indiana, I further asked the cashier before I can explain my situation, she asked me did I purchase at her location in which I was honest with her and told her no,she told me that the store manager doesn't allow them to take returns back from other locations i ask her to speak to someone else and she address me to Linda, I told her that I never heard a store manager making policy, on which I Google before I came into the location about the return policy, I stated that I been a store manager for 45 plus years and she replied back that she been in retail for 48 she went away from the desk as she was doing whatever in which she didn't inform me,the cashier was mumbling, I thought she was talking to me soi I asked her and she replied I talking to myself, when Linda came back she asked me for my receipt ,I told her I had my ID and the card I made the purchase with, she told me not can't return it,your policy on Google said you make friendly returns 3 or more items that I can get a store credit I left feeling like my business was not was not welcome and I was not happy, I didn't want to go back to Hammond Indiana since I live in the city. Everybody is not trying to get over,Linda did not try to help me,bad customer service. I was very disappointed because this is my first bad experience with family dollar I shop in your stores all the time every where and I usually get good service.
