Started private agility training here 6-8 weeks ago, and this is now the happiest place of my doggo's life (mini Aussie). He begs to go here all the time, is overjoyed to see the trainers, and doesn't want to leave. My only regret is that I didn't start doing this sooner!

Do not use All Fours Dog Agility Training. I strongly believe the prior reviews are from friends of the instructor Dee. She does not know how to teach. She may be a decent dog trainer but knows nothing about teaching adults how to train their dogs. You will be lectured for 20 to 25 minutes of a 45 minute class on drills that you are supposed to do at home. If you don't video her lecture or bring a notepad to take notes, which we were never instructed to do, you will need to remember a 25 minute lecture with many drills. In fact, there was no communication before the series of classes started. Other dog owners didn't have enough treats, nor tug toys, which are essential parts of the training process because there was zero communication! There were no handouts with instructions on the drills to be done for homework. Instead, Dee will ask you to join an online group with other confused dog owners who will post videos of their work with their dogs for you to watch. If you want to learn from other confused dog owners in a video then take this class. Otherwise, find a better instructor! I brought my concerns to Dee's attention in class immediately and she had no answers. She simply said whatever you do is fine. If I'm paying $225 for a class, i don't want dismissiveness, I want detailed instruction. A teacher that ignores the concerns of its students should not teach. Do not waste your money!

I starting training with Dee about 10 years ago. I chose her after working with several other trainers because I have shibas and while the breed is super smart, shibas aren't very biddable and have little interest in pleasing humans. I found most trainers had no idea how to help me work with that temperament of dog. Well, three shibas and lots of blue ribbons and titles later, I have nothing but great things to say about Dee's skills, talent and dedication. I've taken private lessons and classes from Dee. If something doesn't click with you (or with your dog), she finds another way to address your concern. And it is always fun, positive and upbeat. We took a break during COVID and just started back up with private lessons and I was thrilled to see that our youngest Shiba hadn't forgotten a thing - - still gets his weave entries, still understands how to do a backside or a serpentine, still hits yellow on the downside of the Aframe. I'm super rusty but he's not!
