Definitely one of the best doctors around. He’s a people person, bedside manners are excellent. I was seeing him as a specialist for my high risk pregnancy and he genuinely cares about the baby’s well being and their health. I would recommend this doctor to anyone needing to see a specialist for your pregnancy. He’s very easy to talk to.

My OB referred me to Dr. Font for an ultrasound when she became concerned that I was measuring about 4 weeks small. My doctor's office had made the appointment for me to try to get me in as quickly as possible, but with the limited days that he is in the office and Thanksgiving, the soonest appointment still wound up being 10 days away. I was concerned to wait so long if something was wrong with the baby, but that was the soonest appointment. This morning I received a call from Dr. Font's office to verify my insurance, and when I told them I will be self pay, she said they don't accept any self pay patients and would be cancelling my appointment. We belong to a health sharing group where we pay the discounted medical bills outright/upfront and get reimbursed after we submit them. I understand them not wanting to get burned, and I offered to pay everything in full in whatever method they preferred before even being seen, but they still wouldn't see me. I was very upset because I just want to make sure that everything is ok with my baby, and now I have to wait even longer for a new appointment to open up somewhere that will see me. Update: Dr. Font did come and personally apologize to me when I was admitted to the hospital to deliver my baby at 36 weeks. I appreciated that he did that. He said that I never should have been turned away, so I'm not sure what happened. Thankfully we had a good outcome and a healthy, albeit small, baby.
