I've lived in Sheridan Terrace for 5 years and had a great experience. The property managers (Bry and Adriana) are very accessible and ready to help with concerns or problems as they arise. The location near the Loyola Red Line and numerous restaurants and stores in Rogers Park is also very convenient. Plenty of dogs in the building too, which is great!

Good price, good location, good appearance. BUT non-responsive management and endless maintenance issues during my 4 months. Month 1 = water off, hot water loss, dishwasher had standing water, toilet wouldn't flush, etc. Paper thin walls, so thin I could hear my neighbor's dog eating in their bowl or literally someone vomiting. The last straw was excessive window leaking that had to be collected with buckets (aka my personal tupperware). Management did not respond for over a month, maintenance said they cannot help because the issue is beyond my unit. Damage to my personal items with no compensation or resolution. I moved out after no response. Save your time.

Resident for less than a year. The only good thing about this place is location- pretty favorable. other than that- rental is terrible. If you have no choice this place will suffice but if you have any choice- go somewhere else. Building itself is with very thin walls, so you will hear everything your neighbors are doing. Multiple code violations, for example, both elevators only have a conditional certificate of safety which itself expired a year ago. Other violations take a full page in bullet format- i know this because company is required to disclose those in a lease. Management is nowhere to be found - you can call them, write emails - no one will respond. For example, been trying to reach someone from the office for about a week, no luck. Packages/delivery - i never lost mine, but at any given time there is a note downstairs where some neighbor asks for his missing package. Most likely stolen by others. Again, would not suggest this place is you got literally any other choice.
