Theee best fried chicken in the city. Moist meat with some salt from brining. Crisp battered skin. I might ask for all dark meat next time. Also really great rib tips (apparently only Fri + Sat). Did not come with enough bbq sauce, so next time I will need to ask for extra bbq sauce. I will definitely become a repeat customer. The fries and cole slaw were both excellent. Also ordered Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens. Neither of those were great. Would likely not order either of those again. I want my Mac & Cheese to be baked with real grated cheese browned on the top. This was just Mac mixed with a ready-made cheese sauce. The greens were fine, just missing a certain something. Will need to try the Nashville hot, the ribs, the sweet potato, corn bread next time. Also wish they offered a "heat option" for the fried chicken between regular and Nashville hot. Add-on review from 2nd time ordering. The corn bread was only so-so. They were only making rib tips, so couldn't try the ribs. But got extra sauce this time. Fries were "wilted", undercooked.
