This is my son's fourth year at Queen of Angels; it has been such a fantastic experience for the entire family. The principal and pastor are very focused and dedicated, as are the teachers. There is a real emphasis on professional development for the teachers; they are true professionals, using best practices and constantly updating their knowledge and techniques. They are also unbelievably caring. In pre-K, my son had such difficulty adjusting to school that most other schools would have required him to sit out another year, his teacher (Mrs. Kaufman) and several other staff members kept working with him in such a patient and positive way, he was able to work everything out. I was not expecting so many teachers and staff to get to know him (and us) so quickly. Every time I call or go there, everyone knows who we are and who my son is. Another strength of Q of A is that they see the value of unstructured playtime. At recess, the kids play hard and learn to work out social issues on their own. My son has grown so much socially from his peers, and in such a positive way. Bullying is nonexistent, and the older kids act as positive role models to the younger kids. Finally, the parent community has been extremely welcoming, and I am continually blown away by the amount of time and effort parents dedicate to the school. I can't say enough good things about Queen of Angels. I'm so grateful we found this school!

We are in our 7th year at Queen of Angels, with a 5th and 6th grader right now. We are extremely pleased with our school. It is a great community, where our children have felt at home. This year, the school has particularly handled its COVID protocols very well, with few interruptions. I have been so happy that they were in-person this past school year. Queen of Angels has very good, caring teachers. It is very well organized, and we have a great new principal.

We have 4 little kids who have all started at QoA in the Bridge program. The program for the younger kids (Kindergarten and below) is incredibly flexible, 2, 3 or 5 days a week/Half day or Full day! The teachers are absolutely outstanding. We now have 2 in Bridge (program for two year olds) 1 in Pre-school & 1 in Pre-K. It can be nerve wracking when dropping your kids for the first time ever which is why I felt so lucky to have Mrs. Bullock as the Bridge teacher. She exudes warmth. She truly cares about the kids and it shows! Through the Bridge program all of our littles started talking so much more, showing more independence and confidence and I believe this to be directly related to the time spent in her care. She is simply incredible! Preschool is a difficult age with budding emotions, a struggle for independence and a strong will. Mrs. Carson ability to steer these 'threenagers' impressed us daily. One of the many things I have always admired is the way she communicates with the children. She talks to them, not at them and in return they respect & adore her! This is our third year with Mrs. Carson and I could go on and on. Our oldest is now in Pre-k with Mrs. Kaufman and she’s everything I have come to expect- Warm, patient, caring and fun! Our daughter is so excited to go to school & as a parent that’s all you want. I have made so many friendships through the school and they all have similar sentiments about their teachers and the administration. Mrs. Brizgys is our new principal, and a new principal during Covid -not an easy task- and she has done a tremendous job. I really can’t say enough.

We have two elementary aged children at Queens, and this is our 6th year at the school. We have moved through the Bridge (2 year old) program, preschool and the lower elementary grades. The teachers have been nothing short of amazing, many of which have been at the school for long tenures. We loved the flexibility of the Bridge and preschool programs, allowing parents to select a schedule (3/5 days, full/half days) that work for their individual families. My daughter's progression into the lower elementary grades has been seamless, and she is excelling academically. The school has strong parental involvement leadership from the school and parish. The new principal has done an outstanding job navigating COVID protocols and managing the parent and teacher community. Even in the lower elementary grades, the school delivers strong programs in music/art, reading, STEM. The school culture encourages noble behavior from its students. We are thrilled to be a part of the Queens community.

We love Queen of Angels! This is our 6th year, and we've been really happy. Small class sizes means lots of individual attention and our kids feel loved. SO impressed with the Administration's response to COVID-19 this year. They've done a great job implementing new safety protocols to make sure students and teachers are safe for in-person learning.
