Adam easily identified the fit issues with my new road bike. They make and work on custom bikes so I was a little nervous going in as a novice rider, but Adam couldn’t have been more unassuming. He just wanted my bike to fit me, and now it does.

Adam is the best bike fitter in Chicago….period. I’ve been cycling and doing triathlons for about 15 years. From the start, I had accepted some things about various pains and limitations I had on the bike. I had gone to several fitters over the years and generally ended up with a good fit, but not a great one. As I was training for an Ironman this year, I was having some pains early in my training and a friend who is an experienced Ironman told me I had to go see Adam…so I did. Wow. Within 20 minutes in his studio, I felt some things lock in that had always been issues. Within the hour, his adjustments took away almost all issues I was having. I did go back two more times for some minor tweaks and Adam always fit me in quickly and saw me around my crazy work travel-schedule. I finished the Ironman this year with no fit-related pain. Get a Grip is also the only shop in town that I’ll trust with my nice racing bike. They have taken very good care of my Wife and I. Adam and Get a Grip are as good as they come. Cheers!

This is an illegitimate business. I ordered a bike from Get a Grip late April, two months later I was told that they still have not put in the order. In short, this bike shop charged my card for about $2,000 and used the money for something other than ordering my bike. I was told lies that they were waiting on Santa Cruz or that the order was about to be put in but Kevin Corsello simply took my money and ran with it. After two and a half months of putting in my order I was able to get my money back from the shop and go buy the bike at The Pony Shop, where they ordered the bike immediately and had it shipped and ready in a week. Kevin has an awful business practice and there is no reason that anybody should be ordering bikes from him. Unless you like having your money stolen from you I would not recommend Get a Grip. The bike fit and sales service that was provided by Adam was phenomenal, I must say. But everything fell apart once I handed them my money. What they are pulling off here is astonishing and I would hate to see other cyclists fall into the same situation that I was in.
