They lend me a double battery cargo e-bike for work during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was a first responder on the front-line taking extra safety precautions despite of being out and about my job. The e-bike allowed me to commute with ease through different public places of the Belmont-Cragin community while I was doing the 2020 Census with NWSHC. The seat is adjustable, and the double sided bike-stand increases support when parked. The tires are durable, not your average bike tires. The frame is a thick steel type of metal with a unique design made by Bosch company. The handle bars come with the utility of a bell. NOTE: riders still have to pedal but with the luxury of 4 different speeds. The double battery cargo e-bike comes with 2 cargo bags located on the side of it but don't recommend overfilling it or else, the ride will not be the same. The single battery e-bike is a different experience, not as fast as the double battery but it does beat riding an average bicycle. The only thing that ruined my e-bike experience was the high number in amount of craters on the streets of Belmont-Cragin area. The NWSHC kept telling me that I could keep it but I remainded skeptical until the people at Chicago Connectory confirmed. The truth is, the bike-shop claimed and retrieved the e-bike to give priority to delivery making businesses.

This was a perfect experience. I came to Four Star Family Cyclery to have my rear tire on my electric bike fixed. The booking platform was super easy and when I got there I was treated with the utmost kindness. The shop is clean and bright. They were able to fix my bike while I waited (which did not take long at all), and even tuned up my brakes and gears (which I hadn't mentioned when I booked my appointment, but they noticed it needed some TLC). The pricing was really fair and I was happy to pay for such wonderful service. On top of everything they made me feel welcome in the shop, which has not been my experience at other bike shops. If you're looking for a bike shop I cannot recommend Four Star Family Cyclery more.

I stopped in today because my tires went flat after trying to fill them at the corner gas station, and they filled both tires up for no charge.... I truly appreciated it. It allowed me to bike with my family and enjoy the day. Great place.
