Spotlight Automotive is the best shop in Chicago for european cars period. They are very knowledgeable and have a really quick turnaround time. They replaced a coolant flange in my car as a walk-in during a snow storm same day. They have replace my clutch and seized brake calipers and my car always runs smooth after leaving the shop. 10/10 recommended! Services: Brake service & repair, General repairs & maintenance

Researched online and saw that this shop was Audi certified but should have asked if they were R8 certified as I decided to take my Audi R8 for an oil change. Obviously a performance car with different requirements than your standard Audi but felt with the reviews that it was going to be ok. Left the car, came back 5 hrs later - they did the oil change $200. I’m happy - typically at the dealer it’s $600+ or so. After driving for less than 1000 miles the engine started emitting an oil burning smell. Didn’t think anything because I had just gotten an oil change and they should last 5k+ miles for this car. Took it to Audi and they had to service the car and redo the oil change - oil was black and nasty - the smell was from the burning.oil. Seems this shop used the wrong oil. Moral of story, I’m sure these guys do a great job on your standard vehicle but take your sports performance car to a shop that consistently works on them and certified for your specific car. Otherwise they were friendly and affordable. Service: Oil change
