Took My car for a repair since it broke down a couple blocks away. I already new what was wrong with it and what wasnt. So when i got it back they had bent a tube inside so the acceleration of the car was damaged. Expensive and very disloyal. A lawsuit will be in order soon.

Took my 2007 Nissan Maxima to Meza Auto Care Center. The diagnosis was a bad CVT transmission which needed to be replaced. A transmission which I knew had gone bad due to me taking it to the Nissan dealership previously. The Dealership denied my warranty and I refused to pay the 4 thousand dollar price tag for a new transmission through them (another story itself). Now here I was back to square one with a bad transmission. I began to shop around for different estimates and quotes around my area in different mechanic shops. I had an advantage because i knew what was wrong with the vehicle so I could not be told otherwise by shady mechanics out for a big pay day. Two shops quoted me 2,500 an other did not want to even touch my car due to the CVT transmission being recalled by Nissan itself for being defective. That is when by chance I stumbled across the father & son duo that makes up Meza Auto Care Center. The father Don Meza an experienced well humored man that will not sugar coat anything and tell you what repair is needed and recommended. The son Jose is the calm, relaxed young gun with skills far beyond what his age should reflect. I took my car in and they diagnosed what i already knew that was wrong with the vehicle. Jose attempted to see if there was a way to save me money by opening up the transmission and inspecting the parts. At one point even taking the parts and driving them over to another fellow mechanic that specialized in transmissions to see if it could be fixed free of charge or without me asking him to do so. When all failed and there was no option but to replace it Don Meza the father got on his phone and began to make calls like a Las Vegas loan shark would when he operates business up until he found me a transmission at the best absolute price and condition I could dream of. He gave me the same price it was offered to him at since I was present and overheard the conversation. He did not add his additional hidden fee or ask me for extra bucks for finding it. The transmission was delivered and replaced. The fee for labor was separate then the fee for the transmission. The labor fee that was straight up with no additional charges or extra fees hidden down the line as it has happened to me dealing with other shady mechanics. The warranty offered was also better then the competitions. Overall I am more then pleased with the services offered at this location. They not only gained a loyal customer but I will recommend family, friends and anyone willing to listen to go here. I want to thank Jose for being attentive and focused on fixing my car like if it was his own.
