        We stopped in very close to lunch closing time and were treated graciously by the staff. Our lunch was good and the ham and bean soup that came with our sandwiches was very good. The service was attentive and the prices were very modest. Pauline's is a good value.The breakfast menu looked terrific too and we'll have to give that a try on a future trip to Chicago.The decor is very distinctive. Bring your kids to take them to the kind of restaurant you or your parents might have gone to decades ago. It's special.
