Kishwaukee Canoe

This is the best service for canoe and kayak rentals! Troy has helped me set up many rentals over the past 5 years. Always on time, always a pleasure to talk to. I refer his service every chance I get. His advice on the river is excellent. I’ve paddled this river at every stage of water levels over the past 15 years. If the level is dangerous he won’t put you in harms way. I apologize to Troy for not posting a review sooner. We use our own boats but any time I bring a group of people I can count on Troy! Thank you for your diligence and professionalism every time we’ve used your great service.

My friends rented from Kishwaukee canoe, while we brought our own. I had a pleasant experience making the reservations for them. He provided recommendations and thorough descriptions about the river conditions. At the canoe launch, my friends were taken care of well by Troy who provided details on places to stop for breaks along the way. Though we did not rent from him, at the canoe landing, he offered bucket and rags for us to wipe down our kayaks. Further we left one of our paddles, which we did not realize until he gave us a call. Was impressed that he remembered my name, but also he knew immediately it was our paddle as he remembered our boat as well. He was kind enough to hold onto our paddle until we could pick up. Thank you Troy for the wonderful service and going above and beyond! We have already recommended you to the rest of our friends, and hope to visit the Kishwaukee river again soon!

Unable to book a trip with them. Pretty much told he took a job and has orientation? I guess he's closing the business? He called back.hes not closing just does weekends Very nice guy.

We had an amazing time on the Kishwaukee! Saw some great wildlife including bald Eagles on the 4th of July. Can’t get more American than that! The folks at Kishwaukee Canoe are great and would highly recommend! Thanks Troy and Deana!
