Milano Ristorante Italiano & Banquets

Food is very bland with exceptionally SLOW service, even if you're only 1 of 2 tables requiring service. We've gone back a couple of times and still no improvement. :(

My sister had her wedding and reception at Milano's. Before the wedding even happened we had issues. Joe, the owner, promised that the tent that was included in the contract would cover the whole outside patio and fit 65 guests, well it didn't! We had to rent an additional tent which was going to cost $140 extra. There were several people that came into contact with Joe who all complained that he made very rude/sexual comments to all the women. He went so far as to asking the bride if she was going to "hook up with all her old boyfriends before the wedding". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The food tasted good but there wasn't enough, several people complained that they were hungry. In the contract there was to be an open bar for 4 hours, which we got about 3 hours, and the bartenders took forever to serve people. The following day when we went to pay the balance we were hit with some outrageous charges. He charged $300 for the extra tent which was supposed to be $140 and then he charged $200 in damages to his restaurant which was a bogus charge. He said the girls bathroom was wrecked, and there were 2 pictures off the walll and sitting on the floor, one person broke an EMPTY vodka bottle that was sitting at the edge of the bar, and someone spilled a glass of wine on the closed piano and he was charging for the dry cleaning of the cloth on top of the piano. But let this be said, his restaurant was open for business to the public while this was going on...so he was assuming that it was the wedding party when it could have been anyone. All in all he charged $700 over the contract when it should have been $340. DO NOT BOOK AN EVENT HERE!!!!
