The name of the restaurant is 2 Volcano, not Japan Hibachi. The area where they kept the food was dark and trays were mislabeled, they had a section where you scoop your own ice cream and the ice cream scooper was sitting in light brown water with food sitting in it, and the food was overall cold and had bad a texture. The staff was nice but the food quality was bad. I wouldn't make the trip back here again.

I guess after the landemic they tried. No more glassware vmbut Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. Not very earth friendly but what can one do? Still, the food is is not as plentiful as it once was vlbut the variety still is intake. Varioys sushi makes me happy and the variety of foods is still up to par at least. Still being very careful since covid is really not over so it makes me feel safe again knowing thst staff wears masks and for the most part are being careful with clients. The buffet isn't as fun. With clients as it once was but that's fine with me. I don't mind at all as this makes me feel even safer. If you want a variety filled experience, come by why not? It's worth the money and defintley clean. I've even raised my score as I think they've learned from the past and ate very careful to offer a good experience..

Food was good but the music choice for dinner changed the entire ambiance of the restaurant. The song blasting through the speaker was full of lyrics using obscene words. The N -word was sang out loud a few times in the song in addition to derogatory words identifying women. I have never been so offended in all my time while having dinner. I asked to speak with the manager. Initially the wait staff member refused.. she stated he was busy... After myself and others began speaking loudly the manager came and said he would turn the music off... This was absolutely ridiculous as this establishment was filled with families and older individuals... The manager said it was the radio station and he would change... There are no stations that would use this type of language during the day...especially on a Sunday... I will never patronage this establishment again and post this on my FB to be shared...
