Not EVEN giving this guy one star. (But the website made me pick at least one in order to post...He technically deserves negative but that is not an option.)...He came on the phone after the receptionist initially answered...I honestly don't think he even knows what he was talking about...ALL I wanted was to know if they had a vehicle like mine on their lot so I can get an ignition switch and key because the key for mine to replace is not cheap. (I already checked before when I was looking into a secondary one.)...He treated me like the typical guy in his business treats women, like I was stupid and not "at his level"...I have been in the automotive industry for nearly ten years and have changed out ignition switches in the past...He told me his switches are $100 without the key. (I didn't even get a chance to ask him what it was if I removed it, which where I am from that's an option at our salvage yards.)...He claimed I could call a locksmith and give him the vin# and it would only be $35. (Keeping in mind my previous statement of how expensive a replacement key can run. They are even MORE than the key fob!!)...Then he said I don't want to be changing out the switch because of all this electric garbage he was attempting to confuse me with and condescendingly accusing me that I wouldn't know the first thing about it the way he conveyed his words to me. (To be clear, I am perfectly aware of that vehicles such as my own require specifics when it comes to the electrical system. Hence why I requested a vehicle of my exact make, model, and year.)...All he did was show me HIS lower level of intelligence by his assumptions and cutting me off and raising his voice...To top it all off the jerk hung up on me!!!...I was so livid and angry at the way he treated me I hesitated calling back so as not to get into an argument more with him because that would solve nothing...So being a writer, (heh, heh), I decided to tell my story so others can avoid the same horrible customer service this place offers...Surveys show that if a person has a good experience they MIGHT tell an average of 9 people...HOWEVER, as many are probably aware of, in the case of a bad experience they will tell almost everyone they know...How unfortunate he didn't take this into consideration in his inconsiderate treatment of me...Perhaps those who read this will pass the word on.........
