I spoke with Nick several times, having been quoted a price $300 for my vehicle. On the pickup date, the price was changed to $180. Upon calling Nick directly, he fabricated a scenario wherein I'd indicated a story of another deal having fallen through. I'd like to think that he just mixed up our conversation, but I'm led to believe that this is just how he operates -- he simply relies on the perceived desperation of someone trying to unload a car. Previous to this interaction, I would have said that Nick was fairly friendly and professional, however the bait-and-switch was such a bizarre choice that I only wish this review did not require the conferring of ANY stars. Fortunately, the same date of the aborted transfer, I spoke with an infinitely more professional operation based in Calumet City and received $275. If you do interact with this "company" do yourself a favor and either record the phone call (Illinois is a 2 party consent state) or go with a proven salvage yard.
