Horrible experience. My significant other was neglected when needing to use restroom..medications were not administered as ordered .. fell and no one arrived to assist..food terribly undesirable. Do not send loved ones here

Through my adult years and over multiple decades, my sibling and I have been actively engaged with caring for parents with considerable medical conditions. In our significant experiences with nursing home providers, I have never been as disappointed and saddened as I have been with our recent experience at Heritage Health Bloomington IL. During the month my loved one was in the care of Heritage Health Bloomington, basic nursing home obligations were not met, including addressing medical needs, and providing dignity to our family member through proper hygiene and physical movement. The treatment was, simply put, appalling, and my loved one, already in a precarious state, suffered further. Nursing home staff, and particularly nursing home leadership, lacked compassion and made a very challenging situation all the more so. My family and I were distraught over the circumstances at Heritage Health Bloomington, and ultimately remedied the situation via a move to a different facility, where our loved one now receives far better care. If it werent for my sibling and our very active engagement and regular check-ins, I hate to think what would have happened to our loved one. I hope and pray you do not find yourselves in a similar situation. Particularly if your loved one resides as Heritage Health Bloomington.
