If you are seeking employment only think in the short term. Many of the people who have spent years with the company will not get raises under any circumstances. Roughly 3 years ago they went from $13-$15 per hour, which may sound like a good wage, after deductions this ultimately $10-12 per hour for repetitive and inevitably debilitating labor. The only attractive thing about the job is the schedule for first shift 6am-2pm. But in terms of a long term job it will whither your body away through repetitive labor and pay you an unlivable wage without the possibility of change. The most insulting experience was being told by the higher-ups in a company meeting that the company has seen incredible growth in productivity and efficiency through the pandemic, thanks to our hard work they will be expanding production. In a year with inflation rising 6.8% and unprecedented job opportunities they thanked us with $50 Walmart gift cards. Just work till you can use your PTO and spend that PTO to look for your next job.
