Basement Spaces

I have been working with Dave from Basement Spaces for over 5 years now. Having been in the flooring business for 18 years, I have to say that Basement Spaces has one of the best crews I have every seen in the remodeling business. Their creativity and work ethic is second to none! Flooring is traditionally one of the last finishes to be installed in a remodeling project. We have never had any issues when working on flooring projects for Basement Spaces customers. In addition, their customers are always happy at the end of their projects! I highly recommend Dave Schrock, from Basement Spaces for any basement finishing or remodeling projects!

They did a great job on our basement. We contacted Basement Spaces in the winter 2013, with plans to use them for design only, but when we learned they also finished basements, we asked them to bid (we finished almost 2,000 square feet and so it was a major project). They were more cost effective than our other options and we were very impressed with their work. They came in on-time and on-budget. If I could use one word to describe Dave it would be "accommodating." Dave had great original ideas (which we adopted) and he never complained when we asked if we could make adjustments along the way. Dave (the general contractor) has fantastic sub-contractors, all of which we found a pleasure to work with. We continue to use the subs to do other work around our house.

We just finished a major basement project with Dave and his team. It was a great experience from the beginning. What distinguishes Dave and his team from other contractors is the way they consult and involve you throughout. We ran into home inspection related changes and Dave's team was really great about handling these. Along the way we realized we needed more work that was unrelated and Dave brought in the right people to help us. The basement was a well thought out design that helped us think of suitable additions including a kitchen that Dave's team put in. Our completion was within the agreed upon time and Dave's team was very considerate about planning the work and sticking to agreed times. The design is sleek and very easy to make changes to with an open floor plan. The design also allowed us to separate out spaces. The work ethic of each of the contractors Dave brought in was impressive. Each tried their best to keep the space clean and also asked for our opinion at every stage. We would highly recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking for a basement remodel or home improvement project.
