We have been going to Nari sushi on a regular basis for over 5 years (at least 6 times a year). Staff is friendly and service is excellent. They have great happy hour discount specials. Great place to take kids as the sushi chefs engage the kids and the ice desserts are perfect. They have a huge selection of rolls and have yet to experience a bad roll. Our favorites are Las Vegas and 911.

This has to be one of the best Sushi experiences I've ever had. Nari sushi restaurant in Arlington heights continues to prove their worth in the consistency and quality of food they offer. When seated, I'm immediately offered hot tea or cold water, followed by a menu to order from. When you first walk in you will notice that the atmosphere is cozy and I would even say romantic. It feels closed off from the world and the decor while not overly impressive has such a resounding impact on you that it's almost addicting to hang out there. The lighting is dim and nice music plays in the background, memories left behind by happy customers can be seen all around the restaurant. This is a place that collects special moments and memories from the locals. That said, I haven't even gotten to the best part (the food). The quality and texture of the rice, while many may find subtle or unimpomrant, is consistent and remarkable. Often times, experienced sushi diners may find rice to be mashed together or washed with a strong scent of vinegar, or sticky and tough. I can honestly say, and I challenge others to prove me wrong that this is not only a higher quality rice than you'll find in other outfits, but it's also cooked to perfection every time. The chef is skilled and offers generous portions of your selection of sushi with every roll or nigiri/sashimi. In every case I've been there, I'm also offered a complimentary miso soup and/or salad. The miso soup is not made with the quick mix garbage that you'll find in other less edified outfits but it a real traditional miso bean paste which surpases all the storebought brands I've tasted to this point. I'd also like to draw attention to the fact that while Nari Sushi restaurant advertises that it offers Japanese cuisine, there is an enormouse wealth of traditional Korean dishes available for your selection. Though most of these dishses are written in Korean, the ingredients are often in stock and servers can help you find/translate many of these dishes off the menu. Everything I've ordered from the Korean menu was made to order and delivered on all accounts regarding flavor, preparation time, and portion size. Many entrees are accompained by complimentary popular side dishes like kimchi, daikon, radishes, bean sprouts, etc. This addition of side dishes, in my humble opinion, really boosts the meal size vs. price heavily in favor of the meal size. Nari Sushi also has a bar and offers popular Korean, Japanese, and American beers. A few that I've tried up until now include OB (hard to find in most restaurants actually), Asahi, Hyte, Sapporo (imported and domestic), and Miller Lite (bleh).
