BEWARE of this company! IF I could give Zero stars I would! This company is Terrible and did a Terrible job. We got pooling in our driveway after they completely put a new foundation and asphalt driveway in.  When I complained they came out to fix the problem but they made it Worse. DO NOT go with these incompetent people. I'm actually considering having another company that's doing my neighbor's driveway fix their TERRIBLE job, but weighing the costs. It was Not a DURABLE job.

We had our driveway down June 2018 and used Durable Paving which is now called Oakwood Paving.  Was not happy with the job at all.  The driveway was lower than the original from our side door.  Then after living here 42 years at that time we never flooded in our garage.  Now we got water in every time it rained!  They came out and had to tear out a large section and redid it but now it looks patched!  Then there are other dips in  the driveway where water settles.  And on the parkway a large puddle which they were suppose to come back and and redo that whole section.  Waited for them to come last year - end of Sept. 2019 and that never happened.  Now with COVID 19 I can't get a hold of them at all!!! No one answers either phone number.  I need to seal the driveway but I've been waiting for them to finish!

I have used Durable paving to replace the parking lot at my business. The job was done perfectly and lasted. This week I had estimates to have the other half of the parking lot done and they were the best priced. This month they are scheduled to do the job. I have enjoyed dealing with Tim and Richard of Durable paving and would suggest you give them a shot at doing your next asphalt job.

It's my understanding that asphalt driveways, if done properly, should last 25-30 years!  I had my driveway done about ten years ago; and, from day one there were always dips in the driveway where puddles form after it rains or after I water the lawn and was told by Durable that can happen (well, it shouldn't have, I spent good money to have a perfect driveway, but there was nothing to be done for it).  And, after reading about asphalt driveways, Durable Paving didn't put an incline on the driveway so that the water runs towards the street.  Also; to my dismay, my driveway started crumbling a few years ago.  I'm just beside myself as it took me awhile to save the extra money to have this driveway put in.  I expected better!(The only reason I'm posting this now is because everyday when I look at my driveway that now needs replacing: I get outraged!)

DO NOT contract with Durable Paving.  If I could give them 0 stars I would.  We hired them to replace our asphalt driveway.  After completion we noticed the surface of the section by our back door was lumpy and not properly packed down.  We met with Richard the owner who tried to tell us that it was the nature of the asphalt.  He even claimed it was different than asphalt from other states (we're not from here).  I told him that I thought it was because it took his crew 1.5 hours after laying the asphalt to pack it and by then it had cooled off. He ignored me.  His solution was to seal the driveway to smooth it out (it had several 1/2-3/4" deep 'divets' - does he think we're stupid?) - even tho' the booklet we were given after they completed the driveway stated the asphalt should cure 6-9 months before sealing. The city inspector came out to do the final inspection and failed the job due to the fact that, not only was that area not properly packed, it wasn't pitched away from the house for water runoff and therefore 'runoff will be gushing under the house' (the inspector's words!).  After several weeks of dealing with Richard and this problem they came out today, cut out a 16x24' section and patched the driveway.  So we ended up paying $7900 for what should be a perfect new driveway, but instead got one that failed inspection, is now patched and far from perfect, dealt with several weeks of hassles, and an owner who will say anything to get out of fixing a problem and will put you off for as long as possible.  Painful!
