If I could give no stars, I would. My mother was dropped and I was not informed. A family member went to visit my mother, and my mother said she was in pain. A request was made to transfer her to the hospital and that's when we found out she had a fractured femur. The very next day she had to have surgery . If you have family members there, please pay close attention to them, to make sure they are not getting hurt and left untreated.

Terrible place ,A few good nurses but majority of them don't care about anyone but themselves .Called up there numerous times only to get hung up on .Wouldn't put anyone I love in this place ,I wouldn't even put a goldfish in here .Filthy, and people are sharing one restroom for 4 people.They need to put as much attention into the rooms as they do the dining area.Residents go without medication ,and are left with urine and poop on them . Totally uncalled for .Wouldn't even give them a half a star .This is the most awful rehab I have seen in my life .

I wouldnt even put my animal in there. Hardly any staff. Lets you go without medicine. Nurses get angry is you question them. Let me sit in my own urin and poo for 2 hours because they were all handing out breakfast. Can overhear staff talking negatively about patients who need help. Upper management says they will be right back to fix a problem and never return. Its a death trap.

I would like to thank Lisa Anderson from BRIA who came monthly to our East Alton Senior Citizen Breakfast Club. For running BINGO with prizes for our 60+ senior citizens. And for the many other events she attended and gave out such as door prizes for our community and senior citizens. We appreciate all the dedicated time you spent making everyone feel special. Over this last year Lisa built a friendship with our seniors with her sweet personality. They grew to call her a friend that they could trust. I believe because of her caring personality, they will seek her out for when their life moves to another chapter of change. We loved Lisa and hope to see her again soon. Thank you Lisa for everything, you were the best.

Staff members are committed to providing the highest level of care for each individual - now accepting trach patients as well. The administrator and director of nursing work tirelessly, handling the stress of managing care for everyone and making sure that staff members are doing their jobs. Thank you to Mary the Dietary Manager for 30+ years of service and ensuring the residents are always served the best meal possible.
