My son attended Wings for his entire middle school career. He went from being withdrawn, barely passing classes and hating school to actually looking forward to going to school, doing well academically and having friends! The teachers, administrators and staff really care about the students and go above and beyond to ensure that the children receive a quality education that fits each child's individual needs. The small size of the school brings the students together and makes them feel a part of something. Unfortunately, the transition back to traditional public school for high school has not gone well for my son. He is back to hating school and failing classes. This proves to me how exceptional Wings truly is. I wish that they could expand to cover K-12, or at the very least 6-12. Children that are capable but underachieving and learn differently deserve to have a school option that meets there needs and helps them to be successful. Wings definitely accomplishes this at the middle school level!
