This is a very dishonest business. We are from out of state pulling a 44 foot 5th wheel. Truck broke down in Counsel, Idaho, had it towed to them. My husband is a mechanic and ran scanner on the truck. He was unable to work on it since we are out of state. Told them codes They hooked drive shaft back up. They also ran scanner but not work done on it. Said it took 3 hours. But told us they couldn't guarantee it. We waited a week with being put off because guys were hunting and they were busy, that my husband's calls were delaying them from working on other vehicles. He called twice. Went to pay the bill when decided to have it towed else where. Told us bill was $150 on phone. When we got there it was $460. Very nasty guy. Do not use them.

Trusted them to fix my truck when it broke down on my way to Texas. They told me it would be 2 or 3 weeks because they were busy. I left truck with them hoping they might get to it early. After a week and a half i called to see how things had progressed and was told they were still behind with 2 guys hunting.I decided to find out if another shop could get to repair earlier, and I found one.I let Gibson shop know and was told i owed $150.00 for replacing driveshaft. 15 minutes worth of work, but willing to pay and move on.When i got to shop 30 mintes later, i was handed a bill for 460 dollars!Basically holdong truck hostage from me being able to get it towed!Needless to say, i was put in a position where i had to pay to get truck!Ive been in the mechanic business myself for 30 years and never treated a customer like this!Heed this warning...there is no integrity and like me, you could find yourself regretting leaving your vehicle to be repaired.

Very professional and accommodating. The communication was particularly impressive. These guys know diesel pickups and put in the extra effort. I had a full fuel system replacement done by them and couldn't be happier.

Kim, when your husband first called he was told at least 3 weeks before we could get your pickup in. You both decided that you still wanted to have it towed down and dropped off. Once arrived you both were told again that it would be at least 3 weeks before we could look at it as we were full with people who have already had appointments and current pickups in the shop for repairs. After your pickup was here for 2 days your husband started to call twice a day plus coming to see if we had figured anything out. Understanding how frustrated he was and that he is wanting to get home, one of the techs pulled your pickup in on his lunch break and then stayed late trying to see if it was something easy and could get you back on the road faster. The 3 hours you were charged was for putting your driveline back in, that was removed when you had it towed and for the diagnostic time he spent on your pickup. We all understand you both being frustrated on being stuck away from home, but that does not mean your entitled to cut in front of people who have been waiting the 3 or 4 weeks that we are usually out. We hope you get back on the road soon and have a safe trip home.
