St. Luke's Jerome Medical Center

Dr. Torres and the other older nurse are rude, unprofessional, selfish, and inconsiderate. I am 17 years old and was admitted to the ER during a psychotic breakdown. They kept me in the safe room, pestered me to keep quiet, and the doctor rage shouted at me when I became distressed. I was then involuntarily sent to a mental hospital all the way in Meridian for an unnecessary two weeks. St luke's wouldn't even let me see or talk to my dad before going. It was an agonizing, cold, and brutal experience. They sent me into a squad car with security, and had a male even though i told them and insinuated many times that i was having trust issues at the moment. I was completely delirious and shivering. I didnt know what was going but i knew that i regretted stepping foot into st lukes. The only thing they gave me was a pillow, and that was the security, not the hospital. This was in December last month. I know they're trying to help, but this is not the way to go about things. Not even close. However, the bilingual female receptionist with glasses was very nice and patient. The young Hispanic male nurse and social workers were also very kind. My babysitter was nice but she kept staring at me, which sends me into more distress. She also would not let me speak, even though it's a coping mechanism. I've heard endless negative experiences from family members and friends over the years. Sucks i cant go because it's right on my street. Do not go here.

I am at St. Lukes now for the second time this week! Was in the ER earlier this week and then again today and now admitted to hospital. Everyone one here has been absolutely fabulous!! The gal who checked me in was so kind and everyone since has gone above and beyond to make me comfortable and I feel like I am getting top notch care. Thank you to everyone at St Lukes Jerome!

I don't know why anyone would give this establishment anything other than 5 stars. I've been here twice now and both times I've had an excellent experience. The staff is professional. And more importantly the doctors really jump in to action to figure out what is going on with your body. The lab results are the quickest I've ever experienced. I moved here from a very big city, and this hospital has it all over them in spades. The RNs are absolute top notch. Honestly this facility is absolutely amazing. I 100 percent leave feeling confident with the care I receive from here.

My husband went to the ER , was seen right away . The lady at the ER desk was very friendly. Doctor Joseph Bradbury and RN were very nice and explained everything . Had a great experience at St. Lukes jerome medical center .
