Went to C.A.L. Ranch store to do Christmas shopping on Dec. 5, 2022 in Ammon, Idaho, what a disaster! Wanted to get warm gloves, but found them scatter all over and piled in boxes. Nothing had a price on it or the hooks. Chased down a worker who left us standing for 10 min. to find us some help, came back and wasnt able to help us Didnt buy gloves. Looked at sweat shirts not many sizes or variety. Very disappointed in the experience!!

Worked for cal ranch for over a year and made a complaint about the sporting goods manager and two weeks later after I left the sporting goods manager Marla Hall and the Store manager Mark Lawrence decided to go around and tell customers that I was fired for stealing thousands of dollars from the company and even stole firearms which are all untrue. (Regional clothing managers also took part in this) Cal ranch does not train employees or supervise them at all which allows managers to grossly misuse their powers and look for reasons to fire employees they do not like and fabricate reason's to make the employees look bad. Like saying stealing guns which is highly unprofessional to spread fake rumors. Also highly unprofessional to turn a blind eye to other employees abusing policies solely due to the managers favoring them. I highly suggest not working for this company if you would like to keep your image as these people do not. Biggest mistake I've made is working for Cal Ranch. Also very insecure for deleting my review

I used to really enjoy shopping at CAL Ranch. Then when my son left his job there and false rumors were spread from management about him, I lost all respect for this store and their management. These slanderous accusations are so unfair because my son worked hard, dedicated a lot of time working various shifts, and gave his best solution-focused work to them. He is young and I entrusted these people to treat him with human decency. They are so insecure about themselves as adults that they have to prey upon youth. When two particular people in management couldn't accept that they were wrong and decided instead to have a vendetta - taking it out on their teenage employee - I lost all respect. So if you're looking for a family-friendly, positive place for your young person to work CAL Ranch Bountiful is NOT this place. But if you're looking for predatory supervisors, then definitely send your son/daughter here.
