I dislocated my shoulder and shattered the top of my humerus while skiing. I came in with maybe 20% ROM after over 2 months of healing. I worked with Rob and Sarah, a PT student on her clinical rotation for school. They put together a program for me to accomplish goals for my active lifestyle. Guiding an in frame big oar whitewater raft being the hardest. (It requires a ton of ROM and strength from your shoulders!!!) To say I was in good hands is an understatement. Sarah, who I worked with the most, was nothing but professional. She was very knowledgeable and executed my program to a high level. Anybody trained by Rob and the team is going to have a long and successful career in PT. I was totally satisfied with the experience I had. My therapists Sarah, Rob, and Collin especially! You are never 100% the same as before the injury. But I can happily say I have around 95% ROM now, and rafted several times after therapy. I now have the knowledge and tools to mitigate, or prevent discomfort on my own. Big thanks to everyone at Therapeutic Associates. Hopefully I don't get hurt again but I know where ill be going if I do!!
