Hampton Inn & Suites Boise/Spectrum

While in Boise on business I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Boise/Spectrum having chosen it because it is close to the airport so I was not expecting such a wonderful experience! The hotel is nice enough, very clean everywhere and the room is great. The room I stayed in has an interesting layout with the sink area being located in the room entry way which seemed odd at first but it gives the actual room more space so I liked it. What made the experience so great was the amazing staff! Everyone I spoke with or ran into was incredibly polite and cheerful, sincerely. After being in what seemed like a Hilton Group masterclass on outstanding customer service I will be making sure to stay here on my next visit to the Gem State!

Close to dining and other amenities like a movie theater. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

It was decent but over priced. The room was nice. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The room attached with the king had no direct access to the bathroom. I had to go through the room with the 2 Queen beds, with my kids sleeping, to use the bathroom. The mattresses are rather firm, so my back was sore. Also, since there was no close access to the bathroom, there should have been at least a mirror in the king room. Nope. The breakfast was something we could have gotten at a Best Western or less. For $200/ night I expect real dishes, not paper and plastic utensils. The pool was fine. The hot tub jets were weak. And there were no towels. I'll be looking elsewhere the next time I need to stay in Boise. Hilton hotels aren't what they used to be.
