Excellent service. Gerry asks you what it is you want to do and he educates one to what is available that fits your wants/wishes. He also had a beginner class for anyone who purchases a detector from him. That is a huge plus! He will match a machine to your budget. I may be making another purchase later. Very honest! He is not out to sell someone the most expensive machine on the market. And he will give veterans discounts, with proof.

We just made our first metal detector purchase from Gerry's, what a great experience! We scheduled an appointment and met with Gerry where he spent the time to ask us about our experience, what we were most interested in detecting, and what our budget we were wanting to stay in was. After selecting a quality detector, we asked about what starter accessories he would recommend and not recommend until we get some experience under our belts. We left Gerry's shop with great satisfaction knowing we bought a detector that will bring years of exciting treasure hunting and didn't break the bank. While not a "found my first nugget" story, I truly feel this is equally as important. Support and a salesman who goes above and beyond to help you, even if a loss is taken is unheard of these days, unless you're dealing with Gerry, his fomer life as a US Marine shines through when it comes to integrity and ethics. I've dealt with most of the top tier Minelab dealers here in the USA and several in Australia and Canada, I even worked for one for a period of time. Today I had the opportunity to purchase an SDC2300 from Gerry, after finding that he had a used unit for sale that fit my requirements I paid for it and let him know I'd like him to ship it as fast as possible as I had a friend I wanted to see it before he left town. Well it turned out that the unit was missing a couple items Gerry only discovered upon prepping for shipping to me. Gerry stepped up, made the deal happen, went out of his way to do so and has a customer for life, nothing involved was of Gerry's actions, the previous owner simply forgot to send back all the parts and had neglected to tell Gerry, Gerry took care of my immediate need by going above and beyond...thank you Gerry. PS: as former law enforcement, I recognize and appreciate your service, thank you Marine, for all you did then for us as a USMC member and all you do now for us as a Minelab dealer.... Jennifer

Knowing nothing about metal detecting, but interested, I researched several options on what detector to purchase for what I wanted to do. I came across "Gerry's Detectors" Website and was intrigued on not only could you purchase a detector, but he also provided training on how to use it. After several conversations with Gerry we determined that the Minelab Equinox 800 was best suited for my needs. I purchased the detector from Gerry at a reduced rate because he offers a discount for prior military service. From there I took his three day class. One day was classroom, and two days were hands on. I learned so much! I know I have so much more to learn, but after the training I feel a hundred times more confident in operating my detector. As a matter of fact, two weeks after the training, I was able to find my first gold nugget with the detector. The whole thing has been exhilarating, and I look forward to getting out and finding more items with my detector. Throughout this, I have continued to correspond with Gerry concerning questions and comments associated with metal detecting, and he has always gotten back to me.
