I don't normally write reviews but the intake coordinator, Brittany was rude enough to make me feel like I had to say something. I asked to reschedule an appointment and she reacted like I was personally inconveniencing her and the provider I was supposed to see, and got frustrated with me when I tried to communicate with her on when I was available to reschedule. I totally understand that the healthcare industry can be a very stressful environment to be in right now, but I hadn't done anything to provoke her and I don't understand why something as normal as rescheduling an appointment was enough to set her off. Very unprofessional.

I've been totally happy with my experience here. Dr. Gilbreath is friendly and patient. He always takes time to answer my questions, and I would happily recommend him to any of my friends or family members. I thought I'd add a review after seeing that Sage had been rated so poorly. I suspect that people who are upset are more likely to leave a negative review, and people who are happy would rather not publicize the fact that they've visited a mental health clinic. [Edit after 3 years] Yep. I still stand by this review.

I've been going to sage off and on well over 10 year. I've followed 3 different providers when they left sage. I've returned to sage after those providers ether left the area or we ran our course. You can get Good care from the health providers through sage. A perfect example is Laura Shockley, she has provided me with exceptional care. Being very patient, very driven to provide me the the best possible assistance she can. Constantly learning and evolving to today's ever changing mental health strategies. Simply a wonderful person If you've been going to sage for any length of time you know provider turnover is high. This is due to management. It's as if they haven't been trained in any way to deal with mental health patients, showing little to NO compassion. Idaho is rated at the bottom for mental health nation wide. The management at sage are a direct reflection of the reason why. Just know, they believe they are the PERFECT PEOPLE caring for the crazy people, that is their way of thinking. They are unwilling to change, compromise or against. They refuse to understand that patients can get overwhelmed very easily. NOT listening to the request of their patients to only provide the information we are requesting and nothing more. Insisting even forcing more information than we can overcome. Leaving their patients overwhelmed and is many cases giving them major PANIC ATTACKS. but, THEY DON'T CARE OR LISTEN. That seems to be the attitude throughout the facility. It's ironic, doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is the definition of insanity. And we're the crazy one's. Be prepared as a patient to be pushed out if you question them, show any resistance or don't fall into their protocol. There are some wonderful providers there, but don't get too attached to them, be prepared to Fallow them when they leave sage, if you can find where they have gone Because sage will NOT HELP. If sage providers don't Fallow sage exact procedures running people through their facility like cattle going to slaughter and collecting as much $$$ as possible they push them out, making the providers time there as miserable as possible. The upper management MUST GO for this facility to actually provide good care. I wish all you crazy people the best care you can find. Unfortunately Idaho just doesn't care to improve their overall status nation wide Know if your opinion is a negative one they will be rid of you.

Some great Dr's but absolutely horrible management, ownership care nothing for the people coming in and out of all of the Sage name. ONLY care about filling their bank accounts. If anyone truly cares about mental health in the treasure valley this place should be closed down, bought out, revamped to a business that actually cares for the people that depend on them. It's as if the training they receive is to watch the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
