Palisades Park Apartments

Hello Michael, Palisades Park Apartments is a Low Income Housing Section 42 property. Our rents are dictated by the IRS schedule and monitored on a state level by IHFA. All of our rents do fall within compliance to the Section 42 low income housing program, and is administered as such. Many of our available units do fall within a 60% AMI which is a higher rent than a unit, or prospect, that would qualify for a lower rent in a 30% unit. (IE, $1059 in rent vs. $565 in rent), but rest assured they are still low income and are subsidized as such. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Another reason you may see more availability on a 60% unit is because we do have more people that move from those units, whereas people qualifying for a 30% unit tend to move less often. We're sorry for any confusion, but can assure you we are following the program as outlined by the IRS and monitored on a state level by IHFA.
