Makana Maui Adventures - Excursions and Tours

My family had such a great time on our Road to Hana tour with Zac! He had so many fun facts to share, was an excellent driver and made conversation with 3 generations, with ease. I recommend this tour company to all types- we were not a super adventurous group and Zac made sure we were comfortable with the activities but there was lots of opportunities for fun and adventure if that's what you want. Such a beautiful place to see and we thank Zac for being so fun to spend the day with. Splashing in the waves at our last stop in Hana, made my day- Maholo!! Service: Private tours

My friend and I had absolutely wonderful day with Damien exploring Hana road. Damien was very attentive to our interests, and brought us to places other tours refused to. We covered all the things we wanted to see and many more.

We recently completed a Private West Maui tour with Makana Maui Adventures and we had a blast discovering Hawaii w/ Demian. We were a party of 4, 2 adults, 2 teenage boys. The tour started with a short 15-20 minute hike where we found a seaside cliff with several jumping points, below was amazing snorkeling with several turtles close by. From here we traveled west and hiked on oceanside lava which our boys described as "mars". Eventually we explored several tide pools. What we loved about our experience was that it was completely customizable and Demian was incredibly engaging and knowledgable. If we had suggested any of these activities with our boys they would have complained all day. Instead Demian kept them engaged and energized. It was the highlight of our Maui trip where we also biked the volcano, surfed, and zip lined. As parents, it took the stress out of finding places we probably would have never found by ourselves. We did an incredible full day tour with Damian to Hana and back. Honestly could not recommend him and his company more. We went to so many places that were off the beaten path and there’s no way we could’ve found them on our own. Countless breathtaking hideaways that looked as though they were straight out of a movie. Damian was also super accommodating and made sure we hit the spots that were must sees on our list and really customized the day to what we were interested in. Driving was excellent and with frequent breaks to get out and explore neither of us felt sick at any point during the day. Had amazing and tasty local food/treats that were recommended to us as well. Easily one of the best experiences we’ve ever had on a vacation. Well worth it and we will definitely book with Damian and his group again on our next trip out to Maui. Also felt very safe the entire day as far as Covid precautions go for those looking to book during these times! Service: Private tours
