The rental gear is top notch. Kauai Bound even rents prescription snorkeling masks. Finally you can't beat Kauai Bounds rental pricing. The resorts upcharge and won't let you take their gear to other places on the island. Kauai Bound has them beat.

of person who genuinely loves his job so much, his sincerity and knowledge oozes out of him. He spent over an hour going over hidden snorkel spots, marking specific locations and directions on maps and explaining the webcams and surf trackers on his website to utilize day of for snorkeling. He took extra time to fit all of our snorkel equipment, includes defog and a water resistant map of fish. This is definitely the place to go!

Would rent a house from this guy if he offered it. Super nice and will help with anything! Make sure you wear your Chiefs gear for special treatment :)

Great local place to rent lots of different gear. We got our snorkel gear and a boogie board for a week and the price was one of the best we found. The owner is very knowledgeable and spent extra time outlining some good snorkeling and boogie board spots as well as good ways to get into the water. If you're hungry he will give you suggestions of places to eat near where.your staying.
