We visited the store couple of weeks back inorder to get a couple of pearls and settings. We were greeted by a gentleman and he helped us in picking the oysters. Once he realised that we are not planning to get expensive settings, suddenly he changed his attitude towards us and behaved very rude. We walked with just the pearls and did not get any settings. I wouldn’t recommend this place, instead try any other franchise.

I have to say, worst experience ever from a Pearl Factory store. Now let me be very clear, the actual products from the pearl factory and pearls themselves are great. Don’t fear on buying anything from them, their products are great. But this particular store was awful. And it was because of one person. David Martinez. The manager. You sir were awful to my wife and I from the moment we walked in. No personality, blunt, and just overall rude to the both of us. My wife and I have a tradition of going to a pearl factory any time we are on the islands, so we walked into this pearl factory with the intention of opening 2 oysters. We walked in and David immediately saw two things. 1) A couple of “tourists†that didn’t know what they were doing (even though we both have been to the islands many times before and have family roots there). 2) He treated us as an end product, he didn’t care about the experience of opening an oyster and finding a unique and genuine pearl inside, he only cared about how much we were willing to spend on a setting for the pearls. Incredibly rude, and frankly, shocking that he is a manager. I feel bad for any employee that has to work for him. Thank you pearl factory for being a great company, but please reconsider having David as one of your faces of your company.

You get to open up a oyster here and get a pearl definitely a must so much fun ! You just want to open all of them 😂😂 you get to choose what you want to put it on ,spendy tho be prepared

We were there today and were there a few days ago. The first time we were there, there was a nice girl who was very sweet and helped us find exactly what we wanted. When we went there today, we had a very different experience. We walked in with the intention of getting a few pearls with a couple of settings. We were greeted by a gentleman who first was very excited but then once realized we didn’t want as expensive items, treated us completely different. I was with my family and after one of our family members had already spent over $500 on items, the rest of us wanted some items that were less expensive. My sister found this necklace that she really liked that was marked at $129 and decided she wanted it. When she went to go purchase it, the gentleman who is treating us with distain (David) said that the price was just recently changed and it was now $199. We thought that the sudden up charge was very dishonest and that we should have been told what the actual price was initially. We were not told what the actual price was until after my sister was in the process of buying it. There was even a tag on the necklace that said $129, which is why we thought it was that price. The people here definitely like to upsell their items which I can understand given that it is a pricey business, but I did not appreciate the dishonesty and lack of integrity today that we saw. The other gentleman who was there (I guess he was newer) who was actually much kinder called their boss and the boss agreed to discount the price back to $129, but the man who is making such a stink kept blaming the price issue on the fact that the other employee was new. They should have been frank with their pricing and not up charge at the last second. We were very close to just leaving everything and walk.
