Koʻa Kea Resort on Poipu Beach

We LOVED K'oa Kea. Truly, I cannot say enough good things about our stay. If you're on the fence about booking here, take the plunge and do it. Everything was an absolute delight and condusive to a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We opted for a ocean-front room, which was pricier, but well worth it. We also got to see a cheaper room when we booked the hospitality room to shower and rest before our late flight out. That room was also very clean. The pool and pool bar set-up are both great! K'oa Kea is a 2-minute walk to several beaches, including Poipu Beach with the sea turtles that come to lounge on the sand. The resort also offers yoga classes every morning which were delightful. Every staff member we interacted with was beyond kind and accommodating. This resort is also on the smaller side so it tends to be quieter and more relaxed than some of the massive properties around Koloa. We noticed this resort had very few children and served as more of a couples escape, which we loved. If we returned to Kauai, we would book this resort again in a heartbeat.

Compared to some other resorts Ko'a Kea is very peaceful Our ocean view was right in front of the ocean Valet paking only. Don't panic if you see a Marriot sign at the exit, as this resort is on the same street just a but further along Walkways along beach front Pool bar is cool We loved the sushi bar Plenty of sun loungers by the pool. We choose to go out and explore this beautiful island Short drive to spouting horn. Highly recommended

Ko'a Kea is a fantastic experience. The staff were so friendly and our ocean view room was fantastic Rooms: Room was a more typical style room but very clean. Amenities include restocked water bottles and plenty of clean sheets and towels. Nice gym area. Nearby activities: Typical Hawaiian beach activities. Snorkeling and surfing and such Walkability: Easy walk to one of two beaches. There is a wonderful restaurant and pool club and fitness club across the street

Love the happy hour at the pool bar & Erin is the sweetest, best bartender! She always takes great care of us & makes us feel so welcome. The buckwheat tuna dish is outstanding & pairs perfectly with the slushy coconut mojito!
