Beyond what I expected! It was amazing

We have now eaten here twice. Between three of us we have sampled 6 different combinations of noodles, sauces, and meats. Absolutely outstanding flavors across every item. I think the bright vivid colors of the noodles enhance the flavors if that is possible. The food and deserts are just the best, most unique thing, you can find. Also the portions are massive. Easily 2 meals and most likely 3. Now there are some things you need to know before you go. 1) It is the definition of a hole in the wall. It's in a tiny strip center behind a gas station with very very tight parking. The center features Adela's., a doctor, a Mexican place, an exotic shop, and a regular noodle house. 2) there will be a wait of 30 mins to over an hour so plan accordingly 3) There is no place to eat on site so you must take it away 4) they are so busy all the time you need to know in advance what you want. Study the menu before hand and be ready. The proper sequence is noodle type, sauce, then meat. 5) Millie at the counter is multitasking 100% of the time. She uses a headset that plays over speakers in the counter area so you will here everybody's orders, costs, suggestions, and advice. She takes walkin orders, phone orders, hands out orders, and controls the operation in the most polite, and kind way you can imagine. Watching and listening to Millie is a mini show even before the food arrives.

Extremely nice people and great food. I had the lechon on taro noodles. Really great choice. My girlfriend had the Alfredo on avocado noodles, and it tasted better than at our favorite Italian restaurant. Both of my daughters had the Ramen and loved it. Don't forget to try the guava cheesecake. Just be ready for a long wait for your food.

Come for the unique pasta, stay for Adelas personality! Take-out only! We waited 45mins an hour before closing and it was supppper busy. Seems like a favourite local spot and it was evident that everyone loves Adela. Shes whimsical and friendly and passionate about her pasta! The Taro Pasta w/Shrimp was our favourite - the taro really comes through and the cream sauce pairs well. We also tried the Ube Pasta w/Pork Belly and Pork Belly Malunggay Pasta. The latter two pastas were similar (our fault) so would suggest getting different ones. The pork belly was extremely crunchy and not my favourite - wish we tried other toppings. Pasta portions are very big, 4 of us could not finish 3 orders. The Ube Cheesecake is suppppper flavourful. Check in on yelp for a free drink per customer!
