Long overdue review. Just want to personally thank the staff there in Kaneohe, especially Personal Banker Chad DeCosta. My family was looking to take a home equity loan right around the time the Federal Reserve was looking to start the interest rate hikes. Mr. DeCosta was patient walking us through the process and later helped us convert our HELOC loan to a fixed rate loan (2.75%) before the Feds string of interest rate hikes. When I look at the interests rates now (2024) I feel extremely blessed because theres no way we could afford the high rates today. Thank you ASB Kaneohe and Mr. DeCosta for all your help over the years.

About Tania B as she's so nice, rarely gets better than her! Isn't it too bad everybody wasn't like Tania in this crowded world? It really would be a much better place because she's one that can't be beat! Could have swore I had done a few because there's some significant exceptional personnel over here in Kaneohe's Kauhipa St and Kam...been going there since the 70s...as at the times, American Savings was called Honolulu Federal Savings & Loan, how's thatIf there were 10 stars I would give ten times that there's some young women that's so nice so genuine, not easy to find, plus she writes like a automated typewriter, I promise, Tania she has been there for a significant amount of time. Melissa, Jeremy, Sarah!
She's very exceptional as there's some in this world but hard to come across, as we've came across a few that really made my day, at the beach, as I've been around here over 60 yrs! I know people from esp the 70s. Oh, that truck Servco special edition, ASB played a significant part of getting that truck! I'm not finished, Brandy's always wait because of smartphones (though it's my choice to look at it, still they all should be outlawed & surely most would agree)

Assistant Vice President Chad DeCosta's level of customer service was not what you expect of someone with that title. My bank card was turned in and he emailed me to let me know. When I called back I requested for the card to be canceled he said "No you'll have to come in" I asked again to cancel because if I pick up my card I don't know if anyone took my card number down and once they release the hold it can be used. Chad said "do you have online banking, did you see any unusual charges" umm no cause there is a hold on my card, my concern is after the hold is released. I asked again to cancel and issue a new card he again said "No I'm not doing it over the phone ypu need to come in" I told Chad if I call Customer Service they are able to cancel the card and issue a new one. Chad's reposne was "Well I'm not going to do that for you over the phone" I called customer service and it took them less than 5 minutes to help me. They canceled and issued a new card. My call with customer service was faster than my conversation with Chad. Customer Service also said that they recommend canceling the card because we don't know if anyone else has the number. Chad had no concern what so ever. Poor customer service on his part, very rude.
