Hawaii Camp Life

Had such a great experience with HCL! Rented car camping gear for most of a week at a hauula hipcamp site and then went on a backpacking overnight trip on Oahu. Everything worked and was great quality. We had severe winds and rain that week and the tent handled in well and kept us dry. Hawaii Camp Life was exactly what we needed for renting camping gear on Oahu! No reason to cart anything on an airplane - Alyssa had exactly what we needed. The gear was in great condition, the pickup location is close to the airport and the communication with Alyssa was great! I highly recommend using Hawaii Camp Life to make your Oahu camping experience easy and fun!!

A great service so you don’t have to bring your hear from the mainland. I used the gear for Kalalau and it all worked great. I originally ordered a female pack, when I showed up Allysa luckily had a male pack available and she quickly switched it for me.

Allyssa was super helpful, especially to us with very little experience in backpacking. I was able to set up a time for pickup within 2 days of when we were planning to camp. She adjusted the things needed and the bill based on her input. I had originally selected heavier tents and beach chairs and planned to bring my own water, but she ended up mixing and replacing (as you can't carry all that in a backpacking trip) and providing water filters and stoves for no extra charge.
