We just got back from our trip and we loved staying at this hotel! I have to give a huge shout out to Elaine at the front desk and to Karen in housekeeping! They truly went above and beyond. Elaine was friendly, kind, helpful, she even helped my husband and kids on the phone figure out how to find the lobby when we first arrived. She was the best! Thank you Elaine for how you treat guests and for truly modeling what it means to have the aloha spirit! And to Karen in housekeeping, I've never met a more friendly, kind and warm housekeeper. You introduced yourself to us, talked and engaged with our kids, asked us daily if we needed anything and to write you a note if we don't see you. The way you cleaned our room so spotlessly and folded all of their blankets and stuffed animals was just above and beyond. It truly made a difference in our stay! The location of this hotel is great being at the far end of waikiki so it is less busy and a bit quieter. We loved that we could get fresh beach towels out of the machines every day as often as we needed and we didn't need to pack beach towels from home. We also loved the ability to use the beach chairs and boogie boards! We used them nearly everyday! The convenience of the ABC store and Starbucks in the morning was a huge plus for last minute needs/snacks. I appreciated that there are 2 pools one for kids with a splash pad and one pool for adults. Overall, I would highly recommend this Resort with kids or without. Walking distance to great restaurants, shave ice, stores and in the lobby they have a luggage scale thats free to use so you dont need to bring your own. etc. Everything was great!
