Dr Wai is so gentle and patient. Took away all of my fears if going to a dentist. Almost painless visits.

Dr. Wai is seriously the best dentist that I have ever been to hands-down. If you need a new dentist, look no further because Dr. Wai is the one you are searching for. Always a pleasant experience, from booking my appointments (thanks Jan!) through to the appointment itself. Dr. Wai is always full of great stories to entertain you during your appointment, he has endless information on all things Hawaii (history of, old Hawaiiana stuff, etc) and he is a killer ukulele player! If you're lucky enough he may just play a couple tunes for you. His facility is always super clean, from the waiting room and each exam room. He also takes his time to explain to you exactly what he is working on during your appointment and will answer all of your questions, and even random ones (like what is the worst mouth you have seen in your career, ask him, it's a good story!). Even if you don't enjoy going to the dentist, once you go to Dr. Wai, you won't mind it at all. He is so pleasant, genuine and all around great guy. And Jan his assistant, is pretty awesome too! Trust me, just check his office out you won't regret it!

Do you enjoy going to the dentist?  No?  That's because you have not been to Dr. Wai.  He makes my visits a pleasure.  No pain and I always leaving there with very clean teeth.  I actually want to get my teeth cleaned more than very six months!!While there, I enjoy the many conversations we have......yes, it's true, they can understand you with all that in your mouth.if you're looking for a personable dentist, make an appointment with Dr. Wai.  Tell him I sent you........I'm sure we will have more wonderful conversations.  See you in April Dr. Wai.
