I had a couples massage about a month ago and we had Pam & Scott. They were phenomenal. They tailored the massage to exactly what we needed- hot stones, stretching, deep tissue. They found the areas that needed the most work and focused on those areas, but still gave a great whole body massage. I left feeling less tension in my whole body. I would highly recommend Pam & Scott and BeautyMed!

I schedule a couples massage. The massage therapist for 1 hour kept asking personal questions and making comments to my boyfriend (what do you do for work? Let me tell you about my son, pay massage for your mom too), talking about me in the third person (what does your girlfriend do for a living? Is she Asian too?) and making comments about how good he looked ( Your skin is so good) I felt uncomfortable. I was hoping she would eventually stop talking. Towards the end of the session, I asked her to stop talking because she was disturbing my experience. She said sorry, but shortly after, disregarded my request and tried to continue talking to my boyfriend, who stopped replying to her. The massage was well done, but the massage therapist was super inappropriate.

In Kaka'ako, experienced a 60m Full Body Massage & 30m Anti-Aging Facial (90min total) at BeautyMed's. My message therapist was a Korean lady. I think her name was Jae. Although she didn't ask prior to the massage if I wanted her to work on any particular part of the body or where not to work on (...in case of any current sensitivities or injuries...), throughout the massage she would ask about how the pressure was. Be sure to communicate how much pressure you enjoy or areas you want her to focus on. She is very strong so some bits of the massage was like a sports massage. Surprisingly, she brought in some hot stones. That was a nice, unexpected treat. Her technique also includes stretching parts of your body which reminds me of Thai massages. Cash tip is best for your therapist. My facial was only 30m so more of an introductory facial experience but as I write this review 3 days later after the experience, my face still feels so soft. My facialist was Donna of Dream Skincare (IG: @dreamskin_beauty.health) at BeautyMed. My treatment included an anti-aging serum with a face massage.. but that's not all, Donna added a chamomile scented collagen, hydrating mask for my dry skin. She used a gua sha roller to massage on the mask in between as I laid in peace for about 15m. Felt great with nice gentle pressure. Donna did mention some of the specials she's running for facials. I wish her menu was on BeautyMed Therapy's website. It could help her business as she offered a variety of options and techniques. I also purchased a few beauty items from her (see pic) and she added a complimentary mask treatment. I tipped her directly while purchasing my items. Overall a great experience. I love personal pamper days.
