We used Kenekes for our catering at our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious. My only regret is that I couldn’t eat more of it!! Kenekes helped us navigate a covid wedding with some complicated restrictions and were extremely flexible/accommodating with our needs. Our guests loved getting to feast on some authentic/local Hawaiian cuisine. We especially loved the shoyu poke as an appetizer.

We love supporting local restaurants when we traveled. Look past the asthetics at this one. This is a hole in the wall, so you know the food is going to be good. It definitely was. We stopped on the way back from visiting the north shore. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The two pork choices and the grilled white fish were our favorites. The pork was tender and savory. My young son enjoyed is cheeseburger and fries. I did get the katsu chicken, but it was overcooked. They were more than happy to replace it with some of that savory pork free of charge. The portion sizes are very large, so you will have enough food for a second meal if you get the two meat choice. Finally, the goat milk ice cream was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will be pleasantly surprised.
