image don't walk ---RUN--- horrible---- I ordered a trailer 3 months ago and was told yesterday that the owner decided not to build what I had ordered and if I want my trailer it would cost $1200 extra.
I'm am a new business and I have spent thousands of dollars preparing to open in 3 weeks and now I'm stuck without a trailer scrambling to find one.
Zero stars is more appropriate

image I purchased a 24 ft food trailer from Freedom Trailers, LLC. It seemed to have been built by a third-partly company (American Trailers). After receiving the trailer in November 2021, I started my business in December. That is when the problems began to make themselves visible. The sink faucet ruptured, the drainage line to the 40 gallon waste tank leaked extensively, and the toilet fixture also ruptured and flooded the trailer. Everything looked good on the outside, but when things were turned on to function, then the problems came to light. The main entrance door jammed on closing and opening. The windows on the service side could barely be opened. The aircondition/heater is not working properly. The 8 by 4 ft window bay on the serving side is not sealed at all; therefore the inside of the trailer is always freezing cold when the breeze blows. The flooring of the trailer is made of ply board, and the bottom side is not water-proofed. Almost all the holes for plumbing that were placed in the trailer going to outside were left unsealed. What amazed me though, was that I contacted Freedom trailers and relayed only two of the main problems that I had. I asked for a new faucet and also a $30. plastic toilet valve; both seemed to be overtightened in the installation and cracked as a result. It took about two weeks before I got any response; and then it was not encouraging. A few days after their first contact, a new customer service person offered to assist. Well, when I anticipated a new faucet and toilet fitting, I was sent two parts for a faucet and not the entire faucet. I was quite surprised to say the least, that the entire faucet was not replaced. I sent them detailed photos that showed the damage. I never received the toilet valve, so I called to make further inquiries. I was then told that they can't send that part, as they don't have it, and it was part of an entire toilet. Amazing! Here it is that I spent $36,000. on this trailer and out of all the things that I outlined above that are wrong with the trailer, that I only asked for a $60. part and a $30 part; and they sent a part of a faucet that may have cost less than $10. dollars. I would have purchased a complete faucet myself, but it would have required that I remove the complete 3 sink assemble to change the part that was installed in the wall of the trailer. After this experience, I strongly suggest that anyone wanting to purchase trailers from any company, that they carefully look at reviews, so that they may have some guidance as to which company's have a reliable product, or a good service policy or record. I am very unhappy with the lack of concern by Freedom Trailer, LLC to address my challenges. I hope that my situation is isolated and others who may have purchased trailers from Freedom Trailers, LLC has had a better experience. Mine has been a nightmare!

image The staff was friendly. I checked over the trailer and it had a few deficiencies but was good enough. On my way home my brake controller wasn't reading my trailer. I thought it was my brake controller because I installed it before picking up the trailer. After trouble shooting when I got home, I found out they wired my electric brakes wrong. They had both wires on each axle going to power and not one to power and one to ground. This could've been a dangerous situation had I needed those brakes to make an emergency stop.

image Purchased a 7x16 v nose about a year and a half ago. Very dissatisfied with this trailer. I have a lawn care service so the ramp door on the back is very important. About a year in one of the hinges broke off and the rest of the hinge is rusted. I am lucky the ramp has not fallen off with me and my mower on it as I would have gotten injured. I paid extra for a steel transition flap that literally fell of after a few months. My paperwork states 5 year warranty on the structure and axles and thats a joke. They first of all dont want to honor the warranty and if they do you have to drive the trailer all the way to GA (a 5 1/2 hour drive for me) and then either wait a few days and get a hotel or drive home and then back again. Ridiculous to even expect that from a customer. You would think that you could have it repaired local ant the warranty would pay a local shop.
I would never recommend a Freedom Trailer to anyone.

image They added thousands of dollars to the price of my trailer the day after I signed all of my documents with the finance company. Very shady business.
